Hamada H234
Madison Forms has recently acquired a new sheet-fed press, the Hamada H234, which will enhance our capabilities and allow us to be more competitive in certain markets.
Below, we've listed a few details explaining what this press can do for us:
- Great for short run, cut sheet letter heads (2 colors)
- Also good for very short run 4-color work
- Small quantities of up to 2-color envelopes
- Very short run 2 and 3 part carbonless forms
- Great for short padded jobs!

We contribute to Waste Management's Recycle America and they produce a report that contains our statistics, such as how many tons of waste paper we recycled for the year (386 tons for 2008) - and what that means to the planet. For instance, recycling 386 tons of paper represents saving 6,500 mature trees, etc. Click here to see Madison Forms' recycling benefits for 2008.

Madison Forms has installed UV dryers on our variable size press. There are several advantages to having UV. Here are just a few:
- Forms printed with UV inks are "Laser safe" immediately when off press. It is no longer necessary to allow time to cure before laser processing.
- No ink offsetting on forms delivered as Roll Product.
- Richer, more vivid colors because a heavier ink film can be applied without concern for tracking, or offsetting.
- Your orders can now be printed on coated (e.g. glossy) paper, again because ink is cured instantly.
- Environmentally friendly; elimination of VOC's (fewer emissions)

Recently, Madisonforms.com was redesigned to add new functionality and to provide easier site navigation. Additional product information is now available as well as a progress bar for file uploads. Soon there will be a capability (MyForms Online) whereby you will be able to see your orders, quotes, invoices and some general reporting. This should be a helpful communication tool.

Some Recent Additions To Our Capabilities
A newly installed Kodak computer-to-plate system and workflow have entirely revamped our pre-press area with new and greater efficiencies, plate registration and screen resolution. Also - within the last two years, a 6-color high speed variable size press was installed. This has provided faster run-speeds, reduced make-ready time and improved print quality. We're always looking for new ways to improve our capabilities and efficiencies so that we can serve you better!
